WebCryptoTools v1.0 Zero-Telemetry WebCrypto
Security Guarantee · Updated November 2026

Privacy Policy & Zero-Telemetry Architecture

Our Fundamental Pledge

Your cryptographic keys, plaintext passwords, tokens, and payloads NEVER touch our servers. Every single tool on WebCryptoTools executes 100% locally within your browser tab using the native W3C Web Cryptography API and client-side JavaScript.

1. Technical Proof of Client-Side Execution

You do not have to take our word for it. You can independently verify our zero-telemetry architecture:

  • Network Tab Inspection: Press F12 in your browser, switch to the Network tab, and run any cryptographic tool (e.g. SHA-256 or RSA Key Generation). You will observe exactly 0 network requests being fired.
  • Offline Functionality: Load WebCryptoTools, turn off your computer's WiFi or disconnect your Ethernet cable. All 105 cryptographic utilities continue functioning flawlessly while completely disconnected from the Internet.
  • Open Source Inspection: Our client-side implementation algorithms are public and audited against standard NIST and RFC specifications.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We deliberately engineered this platform without a backend database:

  • We do NOT store or log your input payloads.
  • We do NOT store or log generated hashes, private keys, or certificates.
  • We do NOT use persistent user tracking cookies or third-party behavioral profiling trackers.
  • We do NOT require user account creation, logins, or email capture.

3. Enterprise Compliance (SOC2 / HIPAA / GDPR)

Corporate security policies frequently prohibit developers from pasting proprietary API payloads or production secrets into cloud utilities. Because WebCryptoTools operates strictly as a static single-page client application running locally on the user's CPU, using this tool does not constitute data transfer to a third-party processor under GDPR or SOC2.
